Hello, my name is Ash

I was a very shy child so when i got my horse at 15 he gave me the confidence to be myself, he sparked my love for photography and i studied photography right after high school because of him.

i studied at Vega Brand Communications in 2009 helped me discover my love for capturing people's stories and giving them confidence in themselves and in front of the camera. There's something special about preserving life's precious moments and creating physical memories that can be treasured forever.

 

 Home is where the heart is Kyalami, Johannesburg, with my partner Jaco and our three fur babies, Ally, Axel, and Faf.

 

I am driven by my obsession with chocolate, leopard sightings, and a passion for animal welfare (huge props to Rhino Connect for their amazing work!)

 

 I've photographed horses, dogs and families across South Africa including, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Free State, Mpumalanga and North West.  

 

My style is Lifestyle photography, Specializing in golden hour for the outdoors to the professional portraits and creative studio portraits.  I love capturing real moments that feel authentic and true. I'm passionate about the emotions, laughter, and connections that make life special.
